Vine : 6 mins short video service launched by Twitter

  • Today the new app Vine a short video sharing service is launched by Twitter.

    Vine is a mobile service that lets you create and share short looping videos. Videos you post on Vine appear on your profile and are shared with your followers. You can also share them instantly to Twitter or Facebook

    Vine is acquired by Twitter last year for short video sharing services. Definition of Vine given by the company is ‘the shortened form of something larger’. As of now Vine records 6 seconds video in a loop.

    We're also happy to share the news that Vine has been acquired by Twitter. We also believe constraint inspires creativity, whether it's through a 140-character Tweet or a six-second video.


    Vine app currently only available for apples devices like iPhone and iPod touch.
